The Bateman Titaco / Outokumpu consortium is able to provide state-of-the-art ferrochrome
smelting plants. One such plant has been successfully commissioned, a second is under
construction and further orders are expected shortly. The development of the Bateman Titaco
electrode system for submerged-arc AC furnaces has been successful and numerous units
have now been installed. This system is a core technology of the Bateman Titaco furnace.
The Bateman Titaco combined clay gun and taphole drill has now been proven in the ferroalloy
industry for its reliability and effectiveness. The first casting-machine reference is functioning

BATEMAN designs and supplies complete AC-furnace plants to process ferroalloys and platinum

BATEMAN designs, engineers, installs, commissions and operates furnaces for clients.
Projects are executed preferably on a full turnkey basis and BATEMAN provides all the
required process, infrastructure and equipment guarantees.- If desired, BATEMAN will enter into a full build, own and operate (BOO) arrangement,
charging a toll fee per unit of production. Transfer of the facility (BOOT) can also be negotiated.Upgrading existing AC furnace facilities
